3 Days State Level Work Shop on Managing Cyclone “FANI” Lessons learnt and the Way Forward started today at Hotel Hindustan International, Bhubaneswar with an objective of documenting the management of Extremely Sever Cyclonic Storm FANI.

Nodal Officers from the key departments government of Odisha, delegates from the National Institute of Disaster Management and Officials of OSDMA and SRC are attending the Workshop.

Department wise Preparedness, Response, lessons learnt and way forward are being discussed in the workshop.

District level departmental Nodal Officers,  representatives of response forces, CSO, NGOs and IAG members who were directly involved in the management of FANI have been invited to the workshop in the next two days.
