What is the arrangement for maintenance and management the Multi-purpose Cyclone Shelters?
- The Multi-purpose Cyclone Shelters have been handed over to Cyclone Shelter Management and Maintenance Committees (CSMMC) constituted at the village level.
- Training has been given on Shelter Management to the CSMMC members and on First Aid and Search & Rescue technique to shelter based Disaster Management Teams (25 volunteers in each category per shelter). Basic search & rescue equipment have been provided to the Cyclone shelters.
