Annual Conference of States/UTs Relief Commissioners at New Delhi

The Annual Conference of States/UTs Relief Commissioners to review status of preparedness for South West Monsoon 2019 was held on 21st and 22nd May 2019 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The conference was organised by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. Of India. Sri Bishupada Sethi, IAS, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, DM and Special Relief Commissioner, Odisha made a presentation on preparedness on cyclone Fani in the conference. The participants had highly appreciated the Odisha’s preparedness and evacuation of 1.5 million people within 24 hours before the cyclone.
